 • The Library's 7-Year System-Wide Improvement Plan• Trustees Approve Recommendations  LIBRARY 2011,a result of a year of intensive study, strategic planning and public input, is about "Building for the Future." It's about creating "The Library System Built For You" with a focus on responding to the public's expressed desire for stronger collections and more hours. Facilities throughout the system were studied in detail and the resulting recommendations included a look at all libraries, their demographics and physical structure, circulation and much more. The plan's aim is to do the most good for the most people; make the most effective use of buildings, staff and materials; all with the most efficient use and stewardship of public funds.
